To inaugurate our new season, the Schola will meet before rehearsal on Thursday night, September 4, for dinner at the Amsterdam Cafe at 6:00pm (or a bit earlier, if you can) to have a fabulous dinner before rehearsing at 8:00pm--in short doing precisely what everyone agrees one should not do, that is, eat a big meal before singing. That night we will choose our best material that we've worked up this summer to sing for Sunday. We've got Jesu, Rex, Ave Maris, our new Alleluia, Virtute, the Lotti Mass, and much more rich, wonderful material. Come to think of it, we've added quite a lot during the past couple of months! Anyway, we'll have a great time and look forward to our 3rd season together. (The meal is on the Schola but of course donations are welcome.)
